The Evil Mystic Saga

Chapter 1: Powers

The sun’s rays slowly started to peak over the top of a mountain, casting away the shadows that covered what seemed to be a city. A road traveled through the city and continued onward into the distance, few cars driving along it because of the time. A worn out sign showed a man with a mustache and puffy hair showing a peace sign. Under him read the words “Satan City”, indicating an arrow to the city that was being filled with the light of the sun.
As the reaches of the sun stretched over the last part of the city a figure ran along the road stretching through the city. His blonde hair whipped behind him as the wind hit his face, stinging his blue eyes. He looked around sixteen and has about six feet tall. He wore a light blue shirt and dark jeans. The rips in his jeans filled with air as he ran on and on down the street.
A man in a silver sports car tuned the radio and glanced out the window to see what street he was on. Instead he saw a boy running besides the car, his hair flying behind him. The man checked his speedometer. To his utter amazement, it read sixty miles per hour. He glanced back out the window to see the boy, but there was no one there. Settling on the fact that he was just hallucinating, he devoted his attention back to driving. Stopping at a red light, the man relaxed himself and tried to calm down.
The boy was now running backwards, smiling at the silver sports car fading in the distance. Turning back around, he slowed to a normal running pace and looked for the right street. He turned a corner and headed up into a suburban area with trees coating the sidewalk on either side of the street. After passing five houses he saw a girl around his age walking out of a yellow house. She was a head smaller than the blonde boy, had shiny jet-black hair that was pulled into two ponytails. She looked up as he slowed to a stop.
“Hi Zach,” she said with a smile.
“Hey Videl Jr.,” he responded back with a smirk. Videl frowned and glared at him.
“I told you to never call me Junior. It makes me seem really stupid.” She changed the subject at top speed. “Where have you been anyways? School is about to start, you know.”
“I was running for an hour or so, but I’m ready to go.” He indicated the backpack on his back. He waited for her to walk down the driveway and they both walked back the direction Zach had come from. “By the way, you never told me why you are known as Videl Junior anyways? After knowing you for three years you have never told me.”
“Well, my family tree IS somewhat interesting.” She hesitated at a light, waiting for it the crossing sign to turn on. After crossing, she continued. “It all started with a man named Goku…” Zach interrupted her quickly.
“Whoa! You’re related to Goku? THE Goku? The Saiyan?” said Zach, looking flabbergasted. “That’s awesome! He’s even more powerful than me!” Videl looked around and strictly looked at Zach.
“You don’t want anyone to find out what you can do, and you told me that yourself.”
Zach stopped and looked at Videl. “Yes I don’t want people to know, that’s true. But Goku had so much more power than I do now. All I can do is run fast, have a lot of strength, and fly.”
“Wait, you never told me you could fly!” Videl looked surprised. Zach smiled and then concentrated his energy to push him upward. He rose two feet into the air before Videl grabbed his pant leg. “My god Zach, you really don’t know how to keep a cover on your powers do you?”
“Oh and like you can’t control yours?” frowned Zach touching his feet to the ground again. “Remember when you accidentally bent that iron bar in gym when you were doing pull ups?”
“Ok, ok, I get it,” Videl said, regretting talking back to Zach. “Now on with my family tree.
Well Goku married a woman named Chi-chi and they had two sons named Gohan and Goten. Gohan met and married a girl he met named Videl and they had a child named Pan. I’m a little foggy on all the details, but Pan’s grandson was Goku Jr. and he was my great grandfather. So, that’s my family tree.”
“Wow pretty impressive,” said Zach, looking very impressed. “Well here we are. Satan City High School.” The high school was the width of a normal building, but five stories high.
“Well I’ll see you at fourth period,” said Videl and she waved as she ran up the staircase to the second floor.
“See ya later,” Zach said, waving back and he headed into a room immediately to the right that had the sign “Biology” on it.
Throughout the next three classes, Zach spent his time texting Videl on what kind of stories she had known about Goku and what other powers he had. Class didn’t matter anyways, he had learned these lessons months ago. Videl texted him a bunch of different training diagrams, but the only one that caught his interest was the Kamehameha Wave. Near the end of third period, Zach was taking notes. Then a phone started ringing, breaking the silence. The teacher yelled, “Whose phone is that? I want it now and you are standing outside until the period ends!” She looked for the phone sound. Zach was looking for it to, only to find that it was… “Zachary! Give me your phone and wait outside for your punishment!”
Zach reluctantly got up, walked past all the other students that were sniggering at him, and exited the room. He leaned against the lockers outside and waiting until the bell rang. The teacher scolded him strictly and gave him detention immediately. Zach soon found the fourth period had flown by and it was lunch. He saw Videl walking through the quad and raced to join her.
“Hey where are we going to have lunch today?” Zach asked as they walked down the street.
“I don’t know, why don’t you pick this time?”
Then a couple gun shoots ran into the silent air. Videl and Zach sharply turned to look at a city bank to see a very tall and muscular man. In one hand were ten bulging bags of money. In the other was a machine gun, pointing at the people around the bank area. He didn’t yell anything in warning, but everyone was already down on the ground with his or her hands above their heads. Zach turned to Videl and said, “We’ve got to do something!” Videl smiled.
“Ok but let me have the first shot.” She hopped across the street in one leap and stood on a street bench. “Hey! You over there! You with the gun!” The robber looked over, his face expressionless. He did not reply, but dropped the moneybags and aimed the gun at Videl. She raised her arm in defense. The robber pulled the trigger and fired bullets right at Videl. The bullets hit Videl’s arm and fell the ground, being crushed from the pressure of the impact. The fire stopped and about forty bullets lay on the ground. Videl shook her arm, trying to regain feeling in it.
“Geez, didn’t your mother tell you never to shoot at a lady?” The robber stood there, first looking at his gun, then at Videl, then at the bullets on the ground. “Hello? Are you going to try now?” The robber stared at Videl, unmoving. Then with sudden agility, he was standing in front of Videl. He raised a fist and punched Videl in the stomach. The blow sent her flying back across the street. She smashed into the brick wall of a super market and the windows on either side shattered. She looked flabbergasted, then smiled. “Well Zach, looks like we have a bit of a challenge. To bad you won’t have a chance to fight him after I’m done with him.”
Hey, Jak and Daxter IV crashed on me, and i didn't want to type the whole thing all over again so soon. So i wrote this to take a break from it.

Some of you may notice that I put my name into the book. I'm looking for some more people who want to be into the book. If you want to be in it, send me a message and (this is important), tell me what RACE you want to be and if you are GOOD or EVIL

thx and i hope u enjoy it =)
